Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Shaandaar is slated for a release this Dussehra. Recently, the movie’s first look was released and social media loved it, says Vaikundarajan. Now the trailer is out and the movie comes across as a romantic comedy with a twist, says Vaikundarajan.
Shaandaar is a movie produced by Dharma Production in association with Phantom Films. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the leading characters.
The plot of the movie revolves around a destination wedding. The trailer reveals that Shahid Kapoor is the wedding planner, says Vaikundarajan.
The biggest surprise in the trailer is the presence of Pankaj Kapoor who, as we all know, is Shahid Kapoor’s father.
However, unlike in real life, Pankaj Kapoor does not play Shahid Kapoor’s father in the movie. He is, in fact, a man who seems to not be able to bear the sight of Shahid Kapoor, says Vaikundarajan.
The lead characters names which have been revealed in the trailer are also quite interesting, Alia Bhatt is titles Alia and Shahid Kapoor’s character is titled Jagjinder Joginder.
The name must have been quite the tongue twister for Shahid Kapoor to keep repeating through the course of movie but that is probably a form of comic relief, says Vaikundarajan.
The music released during the trailer sounds exciting and typically wedding-like. The audiences are in for a sure shot comedy of errors, says Vaikundarajan.
