Vaikundarajan says, “Margarita With A Straw” is a typical Bollywood film with a lot of drama and emotions. The movie star Kalki Koechlin has been appreciated for her acting skills earlier as well and has taken up yet another challenging role. The director of the movie Shonali Bose is leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie.
In the movie "Margarita With A Straw", Kalki (Laila) plays the role of a handicapped girl suffering from cerebral palsy, the movie revolves around her life and her struggle with daily life activities.
The trailer of the movie has managed to create a buzz amongst the audience as well as the film industry. Kalki’s acting has been highly appreciated and spoken about. She has portrayed the on-screen character Laila really well. The film has also gained a lot of appreciation and praise internationally.
Speaking about the film the director says that just like the others, Laila is just another normal teenager and we shouldn’t sympathize with her. Another important thing about the movie is that you will barely take notice of her disability and will somehow forget that she is in a wheelchair.
Vaikundarajan reiterates that he is excited about the movie release and that the movie is scheduled to hit the screens on April 17th.
